watched curse of the golden flower today, with liying and jarly(misspelled on purpose =P). the movie sucked, and i totally agree with 8days rating of 2.5 stars. actually, if not for the final scene, i would have gave it only 2. the palace was sooooo gaudy! esp the pillars! but the veils that they would roll up was quite cool. maybe my future hse will like that too! since i don't wanna have partitions. liying suggested glass... omg, im digressing. back to the horridness of the movie. gong li was spectacular to watch(if you know what i mean), chow yun fatt was totally made for the role, but jay chou was....ridiculous. the casting producer made SUCH a big mistake man. jay chou and action epic just doesn't click. and the part of the reason why they casted him was because they wanted a guarantee on box-office. omg. what a lame reason. i'd much rather they chose a unknown whose more suitable for the role. they already have gong li and chow yun fatt, that's enough drawing power already, i think. anyway, hated the way the used gold. gold on everything! i thought i was going to go blind...
but nevertheless, today was still a good day! ate nice icecream, met a nice person(thank you!), and wore nice clothes. tmr though, will be a day of studying for me. well not exactly, since i have gb in the afternoon, and a 2e2 gathering straight after, i can only study at night, and in the morn. ah, eileen will be there, so maybe i'll bring stuff i don't know along. tee hee!
P.S pride and prejudice's not bad afterall =D
